Google's search engine service has reportedly been down for thousands of users around the world, with issues related to search and news reported.
DownDetector, which monitors online service outages, revealed that the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, parts of Europe and many other countries are experiencing problems with the website and app.
Reports show that 63% of users are experiencing problems with the website, while 33% cite problems with search, and 3% say maps are glitchy.
As usual, users flocked to X to report the outage and see if others were experiencing the same problem.
Although Google rarely crashes, its services ran into issues earlier this month.
On May 1, DownDetector showed problems with the search engine, website, and Google Drive.
Users in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, parts of Europe, South America and Asia have reported problems with the technology giant's services.
It is noteworthy that in 2021, Google revealed that it has more than 4.9 billion active users.
It is unclear how many users have been affected by the current outage.
