The doctor points out that snake bite is considered a complex medical problem all over the world because its consequences are very serious. What should be done if a person is exposed to it?
According to her, in this case first aid must be provided immediately - whether during transportation or while waiting for doctors. It recommends the following:
1 - Transfer the person from the danger area and call an ambulance;
2 - Fix the affected limb in an upright position;
3 - Remove all jewelry, bracelets, and tight clothing;
4 - Treat the wound site with soap and water or any antiseptic;
5 - Place a compressive bandage (not severe) on the site of the bite;
6- Transport the injured person in the lying position only.
