During the WWDC 2024 conference, Apple announced a new operating system that will give MacBook computers additional features.

Experts at Apple indicated that the new macOS 15 Sequoia system carries with it many features that improve the performance of MacBook computers, and facilitates the process of pairing these devices with iPhone phones.

Among the most prominent features provided by the new operating system is the iPhone Mirroring feature, which enables the user to display the iPhone screen on the computer screen, and this feature works if both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Through the aforementioned feature, you can control the iPhone and its applications from the computer, or quickly transfer files from the phone to the computer, including text files, pictures, and video clips. It is also possible to transfer photos from a MacBook computer to the phone’s photo gallery.

Using iPhone Mirroring, the user can also view from the computer the notifications that come to his phone, or control any application on the phone through the computer screen.

macOS 15 Sequoia brought to Apple computers some improvements related to the “Safari” browser, in addition to a new feature called “Highlights,” through which information can be extracted from web pages.
