The Turkish state of Kocaeli organizes a “charity market for Gaza”

Today, Sunday, the state of Kocaeli, northwestern Turkey, in cooperation with the Jerusalem Volunteers Platform, organized a charity market for the benefit of Palestinians who are subjected to Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip.

The charity market was opened in the Central Mosque in the Golcuk area of ​​Kocaeli Province, and the charity market work is scheduled to continue tomorrow, Monday.

The head of the platform, Burhanuddin Çalgan, told reporters that the interest of citizens in the region in the “Charity Market for Gaza” was greater than expected.

Since the seventh of last October, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, which has left tens of thousands of martyrs and injured, most of them children and women, in addition to comprehensive and massive destruction of infrastructure and buildings, causing disasters and humanitarian crises, according to government and UN officials. .

Israel continues the war despite the issuance of an immediate ceasefire resolution by the UN Security Council, and despite its appearance before the International Court of Justice on charges of committing “genocide.”
