The Ministry of Interior stated, in a statement today, Saturday, that “the total number of violators who were caught in the security campaigns in all regions of the Kingdom is 16 thousand violators, including about 10 thousand violators of the residency system, 3.9 thousand violators of the border security system, and 2.1 thousand violators of the labor system.” ".

She added, "The total number of people who were arrested while trying to cross the border into the Kingdom amounted to 1,047 people. 34 people were also arrested for trying to cross the border outside the Kingdom in an irregular manner, and 17 were involved in transporting, harboring, and employing violators of the residency, work, and border security regulations and covering up for them."

She also explained that "the number of those currently subject to regulations implementation procedures has reached 44,000 violators, including 42.2 thousand men and 1.8 thousand women, noting that 36 thousand violators have been referred to their diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents, and 1.6 thousand violators have been referred to complete their travel reservations." .

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that “anyone who facilitates the entry of violators of the border security system, their transportation within it, or provides them with shelter or provides them with any assistance, exposes himself to penalties of up to 15 years in prison, a fine of up to one million riyals, and confiscation of the means of transportation and housing used for shelter.” In addition to defaming him.”
