Users of computers with older processors will lose access to modern versions of the Edge browser.

The company stated on its website that the new rules will only affect a limited number of users who work with older devices, as the system requires, starting from version 126, a processor that supports the SSE3 instruction set or later versions.

She explained that owners of old computers will be able to use previous versions of Edge, although this step may not be safe.

However, the developers did not say why they decided to introduce such changes. Moreover, other browsers do not have such requirements.

The media had previously reported that gaze control would be added to the iOS 18 operating system.
