Microsoft gives Edge browser practical and useful features

Some websites interested in technology affairs reported that Microsoft has begun testing some features that make the Edge browser more useful and practical for users.

According to available information, the test version of the Edge Canary 124 browser featured the Internet speed measurement feature, which Microsoft had removed from the browser last year.

To benefit from this feature, the user must open the browser, then click on the toolbar icon in the sidebar, and in the menu that will appear to him, he must click on the “Internet Speed Test” option, then click on the “Start” option, after which the browser will open. A new page will show the user data related to his Internet speed.

The other important feature that appeared in the latest test version of the application is the “Random Access Memory Limiter” feature, through which the user can specify the space that the browser can use while using the Internet, which gives him greater control over the computer while browsing or playing modern video games.

Leaks indicate that this feature will be released in official versions of Edge during the next few months, and many other new features may appear.
