How much will Fury and Usyk win in the “Fight of the Century” in Saudi Arabia?

The sports newspaper "Marca" revealed the amount that British boxer Tyson Fury and his Ukrainian challenger, Oleksandr Usyk, will receive in a historic fight that will bring them together tomorrow, Saturday, in Saudi Arabia.

This fight, which is described as "the fight of the century" and "the fight of a generation" and brings together two boxers who have never lost in their careers, will be the first confrontation to unify the world heavyweight belts in 25 years.

Marca reported that Fury, 35 years old, will earn about $100 million from his fight against Usyk, while the Ukrainian boxer will earn $30 million.

Although Marca confirmed that the final amount will not be known until after the fight, the promoter of Fury's fights, the American Bob Arum, revealed that the British boxer may receive more than $100 million.

“If you tell Tyson Fury he's going to make $100 million, he's going to get really upset because he thinks, and I do, that he's going to make more than that,” Arum said.

He added: "I don't know the number, but it is much more than $100 million."

Fury has achieved 34 wins, including 24 by knockout, and one draw since the beginning of his professional career in 2008, while Usyk's record includes 21 wins in 21 professional fights, including 14 by knockout.

The winner of the fight will be the first unified world heavyweight champion since Briton Lennox Lewis in 1999 when he defeated American Evander Holyfield, and will enter the annals of the noble art sport alongside Americans Muhammad Ali Clay and Mike Tyson.
