Dozens of Palestinians were killed and wounded since dawn on Sunday, in a series of Israeli raids on various areas throughout the Gaza Strip.

For the 226th day, the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip continues, which resulted, as of yesterday, Saturday, in “35,386 martyrs and 79,366 injured,” according to a statement by the Ministry of Health in Gaza, in addition to a humanitarian catastrophe and the specter of famine hanging over all areas of the Strip.

About 20 Palestinians were martyred, and others were injured, at dawn on Sunday, in an Israeli raid that targeted a residential square in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa).

"Wafa" reported, citing Palestinian medical sources, that "ambulance and civil defense crews recovered 20 martyrs from under the rubble of the targeted homes in Nuseirat, in addition to a large number of wounded, including children, while search operations are still ongoing for missing persons under the rubble of homes."

A number of Palestinians were also martyred and others were injured in an occupation artillery shelling that targeted gatherings of Palestinians while they were trying to obtain water in the Al-Faluja area, west of the Jabalia camp, according to eyewitnesses.

Witnesses said that artillery shelling renewed on the western areas of Jabalia camp and several areas in the city of Beit Lahia, while Israeli vehicles fired heavy machine-gun fire at Palestinian homes in those areas.

The occupation army forces continue their fiery control over several areas in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, while most of the camp’s areas witnessed widespread destruction due to Israeli bombing.

Army vehicles continue at the entrance to the town of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, besieging the Palestinians inside the town.

In Rafah in the south, medical sources at Kuwait Specialized Hospital reported the arrival of 7 martyrs and a number of injuries during the past 24 hours as a result of Israeli raids that targeted the city.

The sources explained that 3 martyrs were killed in an Israeli raid that targeted the home of the Abu Hashem family in the Berbera camp in the center of the city of Rafah, while a Palestinian was martyred in an Israeli bombing that targeted a civilian car northwest of the city of Rafah.

Israeli vehicles are still continuing their military operations east of Rafah, amid intermittent artillery shelling and shooting from vehicles east of the city, in conjunction with gunfire from gunboats on the shore of Rafah Sea.

The Israeli war on Gaza, which has been ongoing since October 7, 2023, has left tens of thousands of martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and massive destruction, in addition to a famine that has claimed human lives.
