The Financial Times reported that the statements of Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping during their meeting in Beijing constituted a real humiliation for the United States.
The newspaper said: “This is a clear slap in the face of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who last month called on China to stop supporting Russia in the Ukrainian conflict .”
As an example of this, the newspaper referred to the joint statement issued yesterday by Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping on strengthening military relations between the two countries . They pledged to work together to resist the destructive and hostile American pressures.
