Egyptian Omar Akid achieves a great achievement in the World Shooting Cup in Azerbaijan

The Egyptian shooting team player, Omar Khaled Akid, achieved a great achievement in the World Shooting Cup, which is being hosted by the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, from May 1 to 12.

The competitions were held in a difficult atmosphere, as the best shooters from 60 countries around the world participated in the tournament. Akeed gave an outstanding performance and ranked ninth repeatedly in the men’s 25-meter rapid pistol competition in the tournament, where there was 2 points between him and the final.

The head of the Egyptian and African Shooting Federations, Hazem Hosni, praised the distinguished performance provided by the Egyptian shooters in the World Cup, noting that such achievements reflect the great development experienced by the shooting sport in Egypt.

It is noteworthy that the shooter, Omar Akid, has reserved a place for himself in the Summer Olympic Games, which will be held in France, “Paris 2024”.
