Consequences of solar plasma flooding the Earth

Professor Sergey Yazyev, chief researcher at the Institute of Heliophysics, announced that the Earth will be under the influence of solar plasma clouds that cause magnetic storms in the coming days.

The professor points out that at least two large groups of sunspots (active areas) have been observed on the surface of the sun, where very strong magnetic fields are generated, generating solar flares.

He says: “As of May 3, solar flare activity has risen to a very high level. In just three days, from May 3 to May 5, 56 flares were recorded, including three very strong X-class flares. The strongest flare since May 6 occurred.” "Several months of the X4.5 category, many of these flares are accompanied by emissions from clouds of hot plasma, which fly away from the Sun at tremendous speeds of up to 1,000 kilometers per second."

According to him, some of these clouds reach planet Earth. That is, the occurrence of magnetic storms is inevitable. If it is strong, we will see the aurora borealis even from mid-latitudes.

He says: “For four consecutive days, the sun was releasing batches of plasma, taking 1.5-2 days to reach the Earth. That is, we can expect magnetic storms to occur on the Earth that will last several days. Therefore, during this period, the Earth will be under the influence of plasma clouds, which will reach... One after the other to the circumference of the Earth from the Sun.”
