The global "Starlink" satellite communications system suffered a technical malfunction that cut off communication through the system for 40 minutes, without experts indicating the cause of this malfunction.
Starlink said in a statement on the X platform: “There is currently a malfunction in the operation of the Starlink network, and we are actively working to solve the problem.”
According to information on the Downdetector website, about 35,000 complaints of network malfunctions were recorded.
The Starlink satellite communications system was developed by SpaceX, which was founded by American businessman Elon Musk in 2002.
It aims to provide Internet access to users around the world by deploying a large number of small satellites in low Earth orbit.
