The Chilean Football Club Palestino continues its solidarity with the Gaza Strip, in light of the ongoing Israeli attacks since last October 7 and the continuing massacres against the Palestinians.

In a touching scene, the Chilean Palestino players entered the field to face Union Espanyol, in the Libertadores Cup, holding the hands of the ghosts of the “invisible” Palestinian children who were killed by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip.

The club's official account published a video showing the players dropping their jackets as a sign of condemnation of the invisible deaths of children in Gaza, and the account commented: "It is our duty to make everyone see it."

Palestino is the seventh oldest club in Chile, and was founded in 1920 by a group of Palestinian Arab immigrants in the city of Osorno.

The aim of its establishment was to unite the Arab and Palestinian communities residing there, which represent a large population bloc embraced by this country, and are considered one of the largest Palestinian communities abroad.

The team was famous for introducing the history and heritage of Palestine in its various participations and wearing a shirt in the colors of the Palestinian flag. Since the beginning of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, it has been interacting with current events.
