Middle-aged men can improve their health by replacing at least one serving of red meat with plant-based foods.
Nutrition expert Dr. Noria Dianova, Executive Director of the Health Nutrition Research Center, points out that the health condition of middle-aged men improves when replacing one portion of red meat in the diet.
She says: "If middle-aged men replace one serving of red meat in their diet with plant-based foods, they will feel a significant improvement in their health."
According to her, in 2020, Stanford University conducted a scientific experiment that lasted 8 weeks, in which some participants ate only the usual meat, while the rest ate “plant-based meat.”
The expert indicates that within 8 weeks, members of the second group lost one kilogram of their weight naturally, and the level of various fats in their body improved. Blood analysis also showed a reduced risk of blood clots, cardiovascular disease, myocardial infarction, bowel cancer, kidney disease and diabetes.
