The case began circulating in 2020, after the player filed a complaint with the club before the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) to have his contract terminated by the club.

The previous board of directors appointed Italian lawyer Salvatore Chevalli to defend him in this case, and his mission continued until the final ruling was issued before the current board took over the task of managing the club.

The club’s board of directors, headed by Captain Hussein Labib, confirms that it will work hard to manage the consequences of this issue until the date of registration for the new season, noting that the board dealt in the last period with issues of similar impact, inherited from previous boards, and succeeded in managing these issues efficiently. Objectivity and transparency.

The Council stresses that it will spare no effort, time or money in dealing with this issue and coming up with what satisfies the ambitions and desires of its fans.”

It is noteworthy that Khaled Boutayeb joined the ranks of the Zamalek club in January 2019, coming from the Turkish club Malatyaspor, and spent a year alone in the ranks of the White Castle, only to leave in January 2020.

The Moroccan striker participated in 24 matches with Zamalek in all tournaments, scoring 5 goals and making only two goals, and received a yellow card.

Khaled Boutayeb resorted to the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) in order to obtain all his financial dues, after the previous Zamalek board in 2020 terminated the player’s contract.

The Sports Court had issued a final ruling awarding Khaled Boutayeb one million and 900 thousand euros due to his failure to receive his late financial dues. Zamalek Club’s move in the recent period, after the final ruling in favor of the Moroccan player, was to go to the Federal Court in order to temporarily stop the ruling, and the team succeeded in Concluding many important deals during the last winter transfer period to avoid stopping the registration again.
