The US Central Command (Centcom) announced the destruction of a boat and a drone in the Houthi areas in Yemen, while the group announced that it had targeted an American destroyer and a ship in the Gulf of Aden, in addition to an Israeli ship in the Indian Ocean, with missiles and drones.
The US Central Command (Centcom) said on Friday that it had destroyed a boat and a drone in Houthi areas in Yemen.
Centcom reported in a statement that an anti-ship ballistic missile was launched on Thursday from Houthi-controlled areas towards the Gulf of Aden.
She noted that “no casualties or damage were reported to American ships, coalition ships (Prosperity Guardian), or commercial ships” in the area.
Centcom noted that US Central Command forces succeeded on Thursday in destroying a boat and a drone in areas controlled by the Houthis in Yemen.
On Wednesday evening, the Houthi military spokesman, Yahya Saree, announced that an American destroyer and a ship were successfully hit in the Gulf of Aden, in addition to an Israeli ship in the Indian Ocean, with missiles and drones.
In "solidarity with Gaza," which is facing a devastating Israeli war with American support, the Houthis targeted, with missiles and drones, Israeli cargo ships or those linked to them in the Red Sea, stressing their determination to continue their operations until the end of the war on the Strip.
Since the beginning of this year, the Washington-led coalition has launched raids that it says target “Houthi sites” in various regions of Yemen, in response to their attacks in the Red Sea, which has been met with a response from the group from time to time.
Since October 7, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza, which has left more than 112,000 martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and famine and massive destruction, according to Palestinian and UN data.
