It is noteworthy that Plato's Academy was the most famous school in ancient Athens. It was founded outside the city walls in the northwest of the city in 387 BC.

There is still no scientific consensus on the circumstances of Plato's death. Researchers rely on the works of Cicero and Hermippus, but they talk about Plato's death in different ways.
