Warnings about websites used to hack Telegram accounts

Experts from the Solar AURA Center, which specializes in information security, warned of the presence of suspicious websites used to hack Instagram accounts and steal their data.

Experts at the center indicated that they were able to discover more than 300 suspicious websites used to hack users' accounts on Telegram, and these sites are usually used to upload pictures over the Internet.

According to experts, most of the aforementioned sites were created in December last year, and are similar to some well-known websites that are used to upload images, and contain hundreds of thousands of images related to various topics, such as animation, nature, cooking, and other things.

What is dangerous about the aforementioned sites, according to the specialists, is that the data or images contained therein are linked to malicious software. As soon as the user clicks on an image to see it or find out its original source, a link appears that turns him into a fraudulent site that can be accessed through the “Telegram” account. The site is where the user's Telegram computer data is stolen, and even the two-factor authentication system that is used to protect the account will not help in this case. If the user enters the account's security code, the hackers will be able to access the profile data in it, and even access the account closure settings.
