Israeli Channel 12 reported that about 30 soldiers from the reserve forces of the Paratroopers Brigade in the Israeli army refused military orders to prepare for a military operation in the city of Rafah.

According to the channel, “military commanders do not intend to force reserve personnel” to participate in the operation; It stated that their non-participation “will not lead to an operational gap,” while the report indicated that this reveals “the state of exhaustion that the reserve forces are suffering from after months of fighting.”
The company commander commented on dozens of letters from his soldiers in which they expressed their unwillingness to participate in the military operation in Rafah, claiming that he did not do so because he loved war, but rather “because it is necessary to do so while my brothers and sisters are kidnapped and because we are in the midst of the second establishment of the State of Israel.” It will remain painful and difficult," he added, adding that "the battle formation is very low."
