Maduro: The US Congress' decision to provide military aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan is immoral

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro described the US Congress' decision to provide military aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan as "immoral."

Maduro said: “Why does the United States not agree as an emergency measure to allocate 95 billion to end migration from Latin America and the Caribbean and ensure the strong development of our countries? They do not allocate a single dollar to development, but they approve 95 billion dollars to war. Why? Because war is business.” Great for them.”

He added: "The United States has 50 states, 21 of which produce weapons, and this 95 billion is not for the benefit of the people of Ukraine, nor for ending the genocide against the people of Palestine, nor for development. They want to develop the American arms industry. What they are doing is immoral."

The US House of Representatives approved a draft law on  additional aid to Ukraine worth  approximately $61 billion, and a draft law  to allocate $26.4 billion to Israel .

The bill received the support of 311 members of Congress, and 112 others opposed it. The document will now be sent to the Senate for consideration.
