IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi announced that the agency had not seen any evidence that Iran possessed a nuclear weapon.
"The accumulation of uranium enriched to very high levels does not automatically mean the presence of nuclear weapons," Grossi told reporters on Monday.
He added: "The agency does not have any information or evidence" that Iran has nuclear weapons.
He pointed out that the International Atomic Energy Agency tells Iran that "the accumulation of nuclear materials at levels close to or almost identical to the level of a nuclear weapon raises questions among the international community."
He stressed: “Therefore, we always call on them to cooperate fully with us.”
