Some websites reported that Google has begun testing a new feature in the “Meet” application that may be useful to many users of the application.
According to the available information, the new feature being tested is called Switch here, and it enables users to switch between different devices during a video call, meaning that the user no longer needs to end the call if he wants to switch between different devices.
If the user starts a video call through a laptop, for example, he can transfer the call to a phone or tablet, or use two devices at the same time.
Some websites reported that the new feature is currently being tested by some users of the “Meet” applications via devices running Android and iOS, the web version of the application, and it is supposed to be available to users around the world during the next few weeks.
