German expert: Putin was right

Carlo Massala, an expert at the German Army University in Munich, said that Russian President Vladimir Putin was right when he spoke of the great exhaustion that Western countries will feel from the costs of their aid to Kiev.

The expert added in an interview with the Austrian newspaper " Klein Zeitung ": "Putin believes that neither the United States nor Europe are capable of providing sufficient and long-term support to Ukraine."

Masala stressed that the reluctance to provide more assistance to Ukraine is gradually increasing, and the voices of those who believe that sufficient measures have been taken towards Kiev are becoming louder.

Recently, Western reports are increasing that Washington and Brussels are beginning to tire of the Ukrainian conflict, and that support for Zelensky's regime is slowing.

According to NBC, US and European officials are discussing with Kiev the potential consequences of peace negotiations with Russia, including broad outlines of what Ukraine might have to give up to reach an agreement.
