Doctor: Normal blood pressure may turn into a hypertensive crisis

Dr. Yuri Belenkov, a cardiologist, points out that the phrase “usual blood pressure” worries doctors, because it is wrong and can cause a threat to life.

According to him, when a person works in normal blood pressure conditions, sooner or later he will face a crisis of high blood pressure.

He says: “There is no normal blood pressure. But there is a blood pressure for everyone, equivalent to 120/80 mm Hg.”

According to him, a person can live with a blood pressure level lower than this if he does not feel weak and does not lose consciousness. As for blood pressure, 130-135/80-85 mmHg is considered normal.

He says: "The low blood pressure level turns from time to time to a normal level, and then to a high level, especially if the mother or grandmother suffers from high blood pressure."

The specialist points out that in all cases we must remember that there is normal blood pressure. Everyone is advised to study their so-called blood pressure profile in order to correctly assess their health condition.
