Unveiling the official logo for the 2030 World Cup

The organizing committee for the 2030 World Cup, which will be held jointly in Morocco, Spain and Portugal, revealed the tournament’s logo during a ceremony held on Tuesday in Lisbon, attended by the presidents of the three federations of the organizing countries.
The international wedding slogan is “Yalla Vamos.”

The coordinator of the joint file between Europe and Africa for the 2030 World Cup, Antonio Larango, explained that the logo brings together some common elements between the three countries, namely the sun and sea, which were associated with the thirtieth anniversary of the tournament, as well as the game of football.

The word "yalla", which was used in the colloquial Moroccan dialect, means "let's go" in classical Arabic, which is the same meaning as the word "vamos" in Spanish and Portuguese.

In October 2023, FIFA surprisingly announced one nomination to organize the  2030 World Cup finals , submitted by Morocco, Spain and Portugal, with three matches being held in South America, specifically in Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay, to celebrate the centenary of the competition (Uruguay hosted the first edition). for the World Cup in 1930).

Morocco will become the second African country to organize the tournament after South Africa in 2010, and the second Arab country after Qatar, which organized the 2022 World Cup.

It is worth noting that the next edition of the World Cup will be held in 2026 on the North American continent in Canada, Mexico and the United States.
