American journalist Tucker Carlson said that the United States will meet the fate of the Roman Empire due to illegal immigration and granting citizenship to immigrants in exchange for service in the army.
This came in a video of Carlson that spread on social media, in which the American broadcaster stressed that “the Roman army and its legions were controlled by people who were not citizens of Rome, and were not loyal to it, so they rebelled against the Roman nation,” as Carlson put it.
Carlson continued: “Tens of millions of illegal aliens have flowed into this country (the United States). At least 7.2 million, which is the official number that has entered since Joe Biden became president, is a larger number than the population of 32 American states. So what have we done? "With these people? Did we deport them? No not as the US Congress wants."
Carlson's attached report stated that US Congressman Pat Ryan is proposing a draft law for qualified immigrants that would allow them to obtain US citizenship if they serve in the US Army.
The state of Texas had taken steps to strengthen its defenses, including building a military camp to protect against illegal immigrants, and had already begun the first phase of building this camp, due to dissatisfaction with the protection of the Texas border, which was controlled by the federal authorities.
