Trump: If I am not elected, there will be a bloodbath in the country

Potential Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump warned on Saturday that if he is not elected to the presidency of the United States in the upcoming elections, there will be a "bloodbath" in the country.

Trump indicated that if he does not win the presidential elections scheduled for next November, “I am not sure that another election will be held in the country,” and he said: “If I am not elected, there will be a bloodbath in the country.”

Earlier, Trump pledged to "release" the rioters who stormed the Capitol building on January 6, 2021 as one of his first acts if he is elected for a second term next November.

Trump wrote on his social platform, “Truth Social,”: “My first action as your next president will be to close the borders and free the unjustly detained hostages of January 6!”

According to the Department of Justice's latest statement, "In the 38 months since January 6, 2021, more than 1,358 people in nearly all 50 states have been charged with crimes related to the breach of the U.S. Capitol building."

On that day, hundreds of Donald Trump's supporters stormed the Capitol building, the headquarters of the House of Representatives and the Senate, in an attempt to prevent the certification of his Democratic opponent Joe Biden's victory in the presidential elections.

It is worth noting that the US presidential elections are scheduled to be held on November 5, 2024, and Trump is expected to face current President Joe Biden.
