The Taang National Liberation Army (TNLA) announced today, March 6, that the curfew has been lifted in seven cities occupied during Operation 1027.

(TNLA) said in a statement that the issued orders have been canceled due to the improvement of security and management in these cities.

The military council said that Namsan, The three townships of Mantong and Namtu were declared under martial law on March 4.

The (TNLA) said in a statement today that this was done by the military council to panic the people in the (TNLA)-controlled area.

During the 1027 operation, 16 towns in northern Shan State were occupied by the three Northern Brotherhood groups, while Mabaim ​​Township was occupied by the Kachin Liberation Army (KIA).

The military council also declared martial law in a total of 13 townships, including towns occupied by ethnic armed groups in northern Shan State.
