They are blockading the crossings. Israelis are trying to prevent aid trucks from entering Gaza
Hebrew media confirmed that right-wing Israelis prevented humanitarian aid trucks from entering the Gaza Strip, through the Kerem Shalom crossing, while they reported that other extremists stormed the Beit Hanoun crossing during a demonstration demanding that aid not be delivered to the Strip.

Hebrew media revealed that right-wing Israeli extremists and relatives of detainees in Gaza on Thursday prevented humanitarian aid trucks from crossing into the Strip, a quarter of whose population is on the brink of famine.

This repeated ban coincides with the number of martyrs in Gaza exceeding 30,000, most of them children and women, according to Palestinian sources, as a result of an ongoing Israeli war since last October 7.

The official Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said: “The demonstrators closed the Kerem Shalom crossing (southern Israel) and prevented aid trucks from entering Gaza.”

A circulating video clip showed that the number of demonstrators did not exceed 15, and they raised the Israeli flag and pictures of Israeli prisoners, while soldiers attended near the entrance to the crossing, and the trucks were parked.

Storming Beit Hanoun crossing

Israelis also stormed the Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing on the border with the Gaza Strip, during a demonstration demanding that humanitarian aid be prevented from entering the Strip, which is facing a worsening famine.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said, “A number (it was not specified) of demonstrators against the entry of aid into Gaza stormed the Erez checkpoint, on the border with the Gaza Strip, and crossed into the Strip, violating the instructions of the Israeli army.”

The authority noted that “Israeli army forces arrested the demonstrators who crossed into the Gaza Strip,” without mentioning any other details.

Gaza is connected to Israel by the Beit Hanoun crossing, designated for the passage of individuals, and the Kerem Shalom crossing (Kerem Shalom) for the passage of goods.

During the past month, on more than one occasion, extremist Israeli activists attempted to obstruct humanitarian aid heading to Gaza at the Beit Hanoun and Kerem Shalom checkpoints, despite the two places being declared a closed military zone by the Israeli army.

It is noteworthy that the aid comes from abroad and is transported through Israel, which announced on October 7, 2023, the closure of the crossings into Gaza.

Human rights and international organizations have warned of the repercussions of a significant decrease in the number of humanitarian aid trucks entering Gaza since the beginning of this February.
