Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned that American aircraft would meet the fate of Abrams tanks, which were burned by Russian forces in the area of ​​the military operation, if Washington decided to send them to Ukraine.

Peskov said during the “Knowledge First” youth educational marathon that American tanks are burned by Russian forces in the area of ​​the military operation, and the same thing will happen with American aircraft if the United States decides to supply them to Ukraine.

Peskov had previously stated that  the Russian army confirmed from the beginning that Abrams tanks would be burned like other tanks , stressing that the army continues to disarm Ukraine on a daily basis.

The Ukrainian newspaper "Strana" recently reported that  Kiev forces have been using Abrams tanks for more than a month  on the Avdiivka axis in Donetsk.

Last October, spokesman for the US Army Command in Europe and Africa, Martin O'Donnell, announced that the United States had delivered to Ukraine the full batch of 31 Abrams tanks it had promised to it.
