The Albanian president makes a promise to the Saudis

Albanian President Bayram Begay called on Saudi investors to invest in his country and intensify their benefit from stimulating investment opportunities and laws, promising that he would be the guardian and guarantor of their investments in Albania.

This came during his meeting, in the capital, Tirana, on Saturday, with a delegation of the Union of Saudi Chambers, headed by Hassan Al-Huwaizi, President of the Union, accompanied by a number of investors and representatives of some government and private agencies.

Bayram Begay praised his country's ambitions to gain membership in the European Union, his country's position in many international organizations, and its ability to absorb business, economic activities, and investments, according to Saudi media reports.

For his part, Hassan Al-Huwaizi stressed that Saudi Vision 2030 pushed Riyadh to the forefront of the global economy, while strengthening the strength of the Saudi private sector, announcing the establishment of a joint Saudi-Albanian business council, pointing out that the Union of Chambers held extensive meetings with officials in both Albania and Kosovo to raise The volume of trade exchanges, as well as the search for new investment opportunities in promising sectors.

He stressed the need for laws that encourage and guarantee Saudi investments.

The meeting reviewed ways to stimulate Saudi investments in Albania and harmonize its economic orientations with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and the opportunities available to Saudi investors in the agriculture, tourism, mining, and construction sectors.
