Billionaire Egyptian businessman Naguib Sawiris acknowledged the difficulty of the tourism situation in the Giza Pyramids area and demanded the necessity of canceling or moving horses and camels to a specific area and facilitating entry and exit.
Sawiris’s post on the “X” platform received wide reactions from his followers, and he wrote on his account: “No matter what we do in the Al-Ahram area, the situation will not be improved except by canceling or transferring the camels, horses, and their owners... to a specific area... and facilitating entry and exit.”
The account of “Ahmed Behairy” responded: “It will not improve unless they pave the ground because the dirt and dirt are destroying us.”
Mohamed Mehana’s account commented: “Leaving a visitor, whether Egyptian or foreign, to face those who want to take money out of your pocket with good taste or good health is unacceptable. It requires state intervention and entrusting the matter to a system that works professionally and works to make the visitor comfortable and attract him to repeat the visit again and again.”
The account @moustafama7mood wrote in response to one of the comments: “You are right. I visited it more than 4 times in 30 years. The same situation and the feeling that they are deliberately shutting out visitors. The world is deprived of seeing the civilization of its ancestors, and the entire people of Egypt are negatively affected, and all this so that I don’t upset a few families.” In Nazlat Al-Simman!!
