PNLA said that the army used chemical gas bombs in the gas station fight : Myanmar

The Pao National Liberation Army (PNLA) said eight soldiers were injured when the Military Council used drones to drop chemical gas bombs during a March 6 battle in Sisai Township in southern Shan State.

PNLA Information Officer Khon Rainyan told RFA that the injured are still receiving medical treatment.

"A poison gas attack. The pain experienced by the comrades who inhaled it is the same. dizziness, Itchy skin, Rapid mood swings, These kinds of people feel the same way when they lose oxygen. Some civilians are also affected. Eight of our comrades are still receiving medical treatment."

The military council is still investigating what type of poison gas was used, he said.

The RFA has not yet been able to independently confirm the claim that chemical gas was used.

RFA contacted General Zaw Min Tun, who is authorized to speak for the Military Council, about this matter by telephone, but he did not receive an answer.

The Military Council has always denied that the allegations of chemical attacks were false.

During the 1027 operation in Northern Shan State, the TNLA had previously announced that the Military Council used chemical bombs in the battle of Namkham City Camp New Hill and the battle of My Kheon Camp in Lashio Township.
