Palestinian Health: Medical teams in northern Gaza did not find anything to break their fast with on the first day of Ramadan
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported, on Monday evening, that medical personnel are being exposed to the famine that is striking northern Gaza, stressing that many of them did not find anything to break their fast on on the first day of the month of Ramadan.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza explained: “More than 2,000 health personnel did not find anything to break their fast with on the first day of Ramadan.”
The Palestinian Health Ministry called on international and relief institutions to urgently provide food to hospitals in northern Gaza.
The residents of the Gaza Strip welcomed the month of Ramadan under Israeli bombardment and famine, while many of them consider it the most difficult Ramadan ever, due to the lack of electricity, water, and food.
The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Observatory warned that the death rate due to hunger and malnutrition is rising alarmingly in Gaza City and its north, explaining that the real tragic situation is inside the destroyed neighborhoods.
The Ministry of Health announced earlier that 67 Palestinians were killed during the past 24 hours, noting that the total number of victims of the war on Gaza since October 7 exceeded 31,000.
It also indicated that "the death toll from malnutrition and dehydration has risen to 25 martyrs."
As the war in Gaza enters its 158th day, the Israeli army continues its bombing, while the tragic humanitarian conditions in the Strip worsen, and the death toll rises.
