Musk reveals a drug he takes to "promote mental health and get rid of depression"

American businessman Elon Musk admitted that he sometimes suffers from depression, which forces him to take drugs that are classified as generic drugs.

Musk said during an interview with journalist Don Lemon: “Sometimes I have a kind of mental exhaustion, and a negative feeling, like depression that has nothing to do with any negative news.”

According to him, taking ketamine helps him in this condition because he "usually works 16 hours a day."

Musk added: “ Ketamine is useful in getting a person out of a negative mental state , and it is also useful in enhancing their mental health.”

Ketamine belongs to a group of treatments called general narcotics. It is used in general anesthesia for patients before and during surgical operations or in some painful medical procedures, as it directly affects the nervous system.
