Mandela's grandson and Che Guevara's daughter in Istanbul

The European Islamic Forum, an Islamic organization based in the United Kingdom with branches in Europe, will hold a meeting in Istanbul on Thursday in the presence of many international experts and leaders.

The meeting is organized to evaluate the agenda of the regions where Muslims have influence in political and economic processes and to identify innovative strategies for the future.

According to Turkish media, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, the Secretary-General of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Ali Al-Qaradaghi, a member of the Muslim Women’s Council in the Economic and Monetary Union, Lauren Booth, the head of the Irish Sinn Fein party, Mary Lou McDonald, and the president of the association, are participating in this meeting. Greek Islamist Anna Stamo, Secretary General of the Alliance of Mosques, Muslim Associations and Leaders in Europe (AMMALE) Farid Hanash, Archbishop of Ramallah Elias Awad, member of the Serbian People's Assembly Osama Zukorlić, former Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis, and former British Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn.

The list of participants also includes Nkosi Zweliflele Mandela, the grandson of the South African leader and freedom fighter Nelson Mandela, and Aleida Guevara, daughter of the legendary Cuban revolutionary Che Guevara, along with Rav Yisroel Dovid Weiss of the American Orthodox Jewish anti-Zionist group.
