The World Health Organization has documented 410 attacks against health facilities in Gaza since October 7, which resulted in the death of 685 people, the injury of 902, and the damage to 99 facilities, including 30 hospitals and 104 ambulances.
The World Health Organization announced on Wednesday that it had documented 410 attacks on health facilities in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
It stated in an infographic report published on the X platform that, “Since October 7, the World Health Organization has documented 410 attacks on health care facilities in the Gaza Strip.”
The organization confirmed that the attacks documented from October 7 to March 12 resulted in “the killing of 685 people, the injury of 902 others, the damage to 99 facilities, including 30 hospitals, and the damage to 104 ambulances, of which 54 were destroyed.”
At dawn on Monday, Israeli occupation forces stormed the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, west of Gaza City, amid heavy gunfire and the flight of drones, which led to a number of martyrs and wounded.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that a fire broke out at the gate of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, and there were cases of suffocation among displaced women and children.
It indicated that 38% of the attacks occurred in Gaza City, north of the Strip, 23% in North Gaza Governorate, and more than 28% in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Strip.
The World Health Organization indicated that health care facilities “are not a target,” calling for “respect for international law and the effective protection of civilians and health facilities.”
Israel deliberately targets hospitals and health centers in the Gaza Strip, carrying out a series of raids, and arresting medical staff, patients, and displaced people inside them, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

ReplyDeleteA new study revealed that climate change and rising temperatures are causing food prices to rise by 3.2% annually.
ReplyDeleteAs climate change continues to worsen, price inflation will reduce the diversity of healthy food for people around the world, or simply become insufficient in nutrients.
The German study shows that global warming could lead to an increase in food price inflation by between 0.9 and 3.2% annually by 2035.
Africa will be the most affected, despite its small contribution to the causes of climate change.
