Crowds of worshipers perform Tarawih prayers at the Grand Mosque on the first night of Ramadan

Sunday evening, worshipers performed the evening prayer and Tarawih prayer in the Grand Mosque on the first night of the blessed month of Ramadan for this year, amid a system of integrated services for the guests of the Holy House of God.


According to the Saudi News Agency (SPA), the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has provided a package of service, field and operational measures that help those who visit the Holy House of God perform their rituals in a spiritual atmosphere full of faith, as the services included supervision of the courtyards, and sterilization operations. Transportation services, services for organizing entry and exit at the gates of the Grand Mosque, and daily washing, purification, and perfuming of the entire Grand Mosque.

The authority supervised the transportation and vehicle operations inside the Grand Mosque, determining the paths for people with disabilities through it, and other services it supervises, in addition to distributing and providing blessed Zamzam water to those who go to the mosque through special transportation vehicles, backpacks, and distributing packages, in addition to distributing thermoses throughout the mosque. Forbidden things and drinks.

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques recruited approximately (12) thousand human cadres, divided into four shifts, including men and women, who work to provide comfort to the visitors and provide services to them. It also provided a safe and healthy environment for those visiting the Grand Mosque through sterilization, disinfection, and washing around the clock with the latest modern technology devices.
