Chinese President Xi Jinping said that Beijing is planning and implementing measures to deepen comprehensive reform, create a law-based business environment of an international nature, and provide a broader development space for international companies than American ones.
Xi urged the United States to work with China in the same direction, develop a correct strategic vision, and properly handle sensitive issues in order to maintain the momentum needed to stabilize bilateral relations instead of taking them in a downward direction.
The Chinese President's statement came during his meeting in Beijing on Wednesday, with representatives from the American business, strategic and academic circles. Among those present were Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Committee on US-China Relations Evan Greenberg, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Blackstone Group Stephen Schwarzman, and President and CEO Qualcomm's Cristiano Amon, Founding Dean of the John F. He stated in the context that the common interests between China and the United States have not diminished, but rather increased, adding: “Whether it is related to traditional fields such as economy, trade and agriculture, or emerging fields such as climate change and artificial intelligence, China and the United States must act as an impetus for each other’s development. "It is not an obstacle."
He stressed that promoting global economic recovery and resolving hot international and regional issues requires coordination and cooperation between China and the United States, which shows the broad mind and responsibility of a major country, stressing that the United States must work with China halfway, establish a correct strategic understanding, and properly deal with...
