The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Sunday that the number of children who died due to malnutrition and dehydration at Kamal Adwan Hospital had risen to 15 children.
The ministry's statement said: "We fear for the lives of 6 children suffering from malnutrition and dehydration in intensive care at Kamal Adwan Hospital as a result of the cessation of the electric generator and oxygen and the weakness of medical capabilities."
World Health Organization spokesman Christian Lindmeier said: “People in the Gaza Strip are risking their lives in order to obtain food, water and other necessities, in light of the hunger and despair that conditions have reached amid the continuing Israeli attack. The regime in Gaza is on the verge of collapse, and even more than Therefore, all lifelines in Gaza were cut off in one way or another.”
He continued: "This created a tragic situation, as happened Thursday when more than 100 people were killed while seeking humanitarian aid ."
