Biden comments on Trump's talk about a "bloodbath" in the country if he is not elected

US President Joe Biden criticized his predecessor, Donald Trump, following his statements in which he said that if he was not elected to the presidency of the United States in the upcoming elections, there would be a "bloodbath" in the country.

The US President said in a tweet: “It is clear that this man wants to repeat the events of January 6 (the storming of the Capitol building by Trump supporters who reject the election results).”

He added, "But the American people will suffer another resounding defeat in the November elections."

Trump had indicated during a gathering of his supporters that if he did not win the presidential elections scheduled for next November, “ there will be a bloodbath in the country .”

It is worth noting that the US presidential elections are scheduled to be held on November 5, 2024, and Trump is expected to face current President Joe Biden.
