An American drone made an emergency landing in Poland after losing contact with it

The General Command of the Polish Armed Forces announced the emergency landing of an American MQ9 Reaper drone on Polish territory.

The command indicated in a post on the “X” social networking site, on Monday, that “an emergency landing occurred near the city of Miroslawets after 23 o’clock on March 18, for a plane belonging to the US Armed Forces, which was carrying out flights in Polish airspace.”

She confirmed that the landing was carried out "in accordance with established procedures in a safe area devoid of residents," noting that the gendarmerie forces secured the place.

The General Command of the Polish Armed Forces had previously announced the loss of contact with the aforementioned aircraft.

The reasons for the loss of contact with the plane and its emergency landing were not revealed.
