Ambre Company: A fire broke out on board an Israeli ship that was targeted near Aden

Ambre Maritime Security Company announced on Monday that a fire broke out on board the Israeli ship that was targeted southeast of Aden, after it was exposed to two explosions, one of them remotely.

The company said in a statement: “A fire broke out on board the targeted Israeli ship flying the Liberian flag after it was exposed to two explosions, and no casualties were reported.”

The company announced earlier today that it had targeted an Israeli container ship flying the Liberian flag 91 nautical miles southeast of Aden, Yemen, and issued a distress signal.

The company, "Embry", said in a statement, "The ship was flying the flag of Liberia and affiliated with Israel, and that it was heading from Singapore to Djibouti. The ship was listed as being managed by the Israeli company ZIM Integrated Shipping Services, and this may have been an old affiliation, as no affiliation was listed." Ship to other public entities.

According to the company, the ship issued a distress signal after it was reported to have been “targeted,” and continued to send an AIS (Automatic Identification System) signal after the incident.

The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency also said that authorities were investigating an “incident” 91 nautical miles southeast of Aden.

In solidarity with the Gaza Strip, the Ansar Allah group (Houthis) is targeting cargo ships in the Red Sea owned and operated by Israeli companies that transport goods to and from Israel, according to the group’s statements.

In response, the United States and its allies formed a military force to deal with the Houthi strikes, as American and British aircraft had previously launched  numerous strikes  on various areas in Yemen.

The United States launches  almost daily strikes  to eliminate Houthi targets, while the Ansar Allah group (Houthis) targets  cargo ships in the Red Sea  owned and operated by Israeli companies that transport goods to and from Israel, in solidarity with the Gaza Strip.
