US Representative, Marjorie Taylor Greene, mocked the placement of a fence around the Capitol in Washington before the president's annual speech, noting that the fence in the center of the capital is more important than building a wall on the border with Mexico.
Earlier on Friday, Fox News reported that a fence had been erected around the Capitol building in the US capital before US President Joe Biden delivered his annual address to Congress.
Green wrote on the social media network “X”: President Biden’s administration is building a fence around the Capitol building under the cover of darkness, and in return, it categorically refuses to build a wall (along the border with Mexico).
She reminded Biden that the traditional annual presidential speech should not be devoted to talking about Russia and Ukraine, but rather about the United States itself.
On Thursday evening (Friday morning, Moscow time), Biden will deliver his annual speech to Congress, and he preceded the speech by announcing that he will talk about his “historic achievements” as President of the United States.
