A Kazakh foundation provides wheelchairs for people with special needs in Syria

The Al-Farabi World Heritage Foundation of Kazakhstan sent a set of wheelchairs for people with special needs as a humanitarian donation to the Syrian Red Crescent Society.

The shipment was transported by Russian aviation to the Hmeimim base, and the chairs are of various sizes and suitable for adults and children.

Director of the Communications and Media Department at the Syrian Red Crescent, Rahaf Abboud, said that the Al-Farabi Foundation provided many humanitarian aid to Syria, and had an important role in sending quantities of aid during the earthquake disaster that struck the country last year.
