A French warning of the outbreak of a world war due to the European Union's policy in Ukraine

French State Councilor and human rights activist Arno Klarsfeld said that the refusal of European Union countries to search for a compromise solution to the conflict in Ukraine could drag the world into a major war on the continent.

The French member of the Council of State stated through his account on the “X” platform: “The refusal of the European Union member states to search for a compromise solution and not to seek to end the conflict in Ukraine could lead to the outbreak of a world war on the continent.”

The French member of the Council of State held the European Union responsible for the Ukrainian crisis, pointing out "Brussels' reluctance to search for a compromise within the framework of this crisis."

"In this way, the European Union increases the risk of a global conflict, which threatens a disaster for our continent," Klarsfeld stressed.

Earlier, Arno Klarsfeld described the silence of European countries regarding the demolition of Soviet monuments that embody the victory over Nazism in Ukraine as “contradictory behavior.” Pointing out that the European Union should not be dragged into the confrontation with Russia, to which the Ukrainian authorities are pushing it.
