Trump proposes a 'big turning point' on aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan

Former US President Donald Trump demanded that the United States stop granting money to foreign countries and convert all its foreign aid into the form of loans.
It is noteworthy that this idea was raised on social media amid discussions in the US Senate of a bill to allocate $95 billion to support Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan .

“From now on - do you hear me, Senate? - no money in foreign aid will be given to any foreign country except in the form of loans - and not for free,” Trump wrote.

He added: "The loan may be on very favorable terms - without interest and for an unlimited period, but nevertheless it must be a loan."

According to him, the United States should be able to demand the return of the money if the country that received it begins to pursue anti-American policies or becomes unexpectedly rich.

The former US president continued: “We should never again donate money without any hope of returning it or even without conditions. The United States should not be stupid anymore.”
