The killer of Nurmagomedov's student was arrested

The accused of killing mixed martial arts fighter Muhammad Rasul Mutaev, 20, confessed to the crime and gave detailed statements in the investigation.

Investigators examined the statement of the 18-year-old killer, who was previously arrested as a suspect, and he spoke in detail about the circumstances of the incident, explaining where he hid the murder weapon and how to hide it.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation stated that the motive was “the existence of personal differences that had previously arisen with the victim,” the nature of which was not officially revealed.

On the evening of January 31, Mutaev was shot dead near his home in Makhachkala.

The surveillance camera video revealed that Mutaev was returning home from training, before the killer appeared at the front door of the entrance to his house, where he shot him at least seven times from close range and then fled.

The fighter died of his wounds while being transported to the hospital after one of the bullets hit the victim's head.

The police identified the suspect as Nadirkhan Kadyrkhanov, 18 years old. One of his acquaintances said that Mutayev and his friends beat and insulted the perpetrator about a month ago, and that he committed the crime in retaliation against Mutayev, and he was arrested on February 3 of this year.

Mutaev trained at the club of Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, father of former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

He fought his last fight in November last year in Moscow, and the next fight was scheduled to take place on February 23 at AMC Fight Nights 123.

The English Premier League star enters a clinic to treat laughing gas addiction

A star who plays in the English Premier League has become the first football player to enter a sanatorium for treatment of laughing gas addiction, which is banned in England, during the current period.

The British government had previously decided to ban the circulation of laughing gas, after it was classified last November as a third-degree drug, and its possession is a crime, and it is impossible for any football player who is found guilty of using it to play in countries such as the United States of America, where the laws are strict.

According to what the British newspaper Daily Mail reported, the English Premier League star, who refused to reveal his name, entered a treatment facility within a clinic that specializes in treating laughing gas addiction.

The Premier League player entered the medical facility after his family contacted the club to help him overcome his addiction to nitrous oxide, as there is a risk of death due to lack of oxygen.

His family became concerned after the police stopped the car he was traveling in and found dozens of explosive devices at the bottom of his foot, according to what was reported by “The Sun” newspaper.

Nitrous oxide is very popular in party venues, and users say it creates feelings of euphoria and dizziness, while others suffer from hallucinations.

A source spoke to The Sun newspaper about the incident, saying: “His family has learned and asked the club for help.”

He added: “The player was told that if he wanted to save his career, he should go to a specialist residential center and get some help.”

"He's basically going through a detox process the same way you would if you were addicted to alcohol or any other drug," the source continued.
