Texas Governor of the Border renews his resolve to build razor wire

The Texas governor renews his intention to build barbed wire with MexicoToday, Monday, 14 Republican governors gathered with the Republican governor of the US state of Texas, Greg Abbott, at the border point in the city of Eagle Pass, Texas, who renewed his determination to build new barbed wire on the southern border with Mexico, blaming the Biden administration.

The Republican Governor of the US state of Texas, Greg Abbott, reiterated his intention to build new barbed wire on the southern border with Mexico, blaming the administration of US President Joe Biden for not providing border security.
Along with 14 Republican governors, Abbott said this on Monday at the border point in the city of Eagle Pass, Texas.
In his speech, Abbott blamed President Biden, pointing out that Washington did not provide border security, considering that this duty falls on them (the Republicans) and that they will work jointly with the Republicans against Biden regarding border security.
Abbott promised to build more barbed wire on the border, adding that they will continue to take all necessary measures to prevent illegal immigrants from crossing the border.
Republicans strongly criticized the Biden administration in their statements, accusing him of leaving the borders open for illegal entry.
On Thursday, Republican governors of 25 states pledged their support for the Texas governor
This step comes in response to former President Donald Trump's call for Republican-led states to cooperate together to combat the problem of irregular immigration on the southern border, an issue that Republicans said: "Biden is failing to deal with it properly."
The debate over border security and irregular immigration between Republicans and Democrats has worsened, with the failure to implement the recent Supreme Court decision, which allows the removal of barbed wire installed by Texas officials at the border under Abbott's supervision.

White House: Biden will use his veto against a bill to support Israel without Ukraine

The White House announced that US President Joe Biden will veto the bill on supporting Israel if it does not include aid to Ukraine and guarantee border protection.
The White House Office of Management and Budget said in a statement on Monday: “If the President is presented with this bill, he will veto it. The administration is persistently calling on both chambers of Congress to reject this political maneuver and instead transmit to the President a bipartisan bill on Allocate additional resources to national security needs as quickly as possible.”

The White House rejects a bill to grant $17.6 billion to Israel while excluding Ukraine from aid
The office indicated that the US administration opposes the adoption of a draft law on supporting Israel alone, because it “is devoid of any measures to protect the borders” and to support Ukraine.

It is noteworthy that a group of senators submitted a draft law on providing support to Israel. A vote on the bill is expected this week.

This comes at a time when the Senate presented a budget bill worth $118 billion, which includes a security aid package worth $14.1 billion to Israel and $60.06 billion to Ukraine.

In turn, House Speaker Mike Johnson stated that the bill submitted by the Senate “will not pass.”
